Sabrina's Hope Garden

April 21, 2009 marks the seventh anniversary of Sabrina's abduction. Some of Sabrina's friends and family gathered at the Sabrina Hope garden for an observation of the date, and a re-dedication of the garden.

Sabrina's Hope Garden was dedicated in 2003, at the one year anniversary of Sabrina's abduction. It was planted at Triumphant Love Lutheran Church, where Sabrina attended from age 2 until her abduction. The garden was originally built as part of a Girl Scout service project.

For a few years, the garden was inaccessible because of major construction on the church property. A year ago, a toddler playground was constructed adjacent to the garden. With much hard work, the garden was cleaned up, re-established, and even upgraded. This was done as an Eagle Scout project for John Stys, a church member. Thank you to John, his family, and Boy Scout Troop 513.

We hope you enjoy these pictures from Sabrina's Hope Garden.

Sabrina, know that we haven't forgotten you, even though it has been so long. We love you and miss you. We will never forget you, and never stop looking. Please come home.

Digging last summer at the garden site to prepare for the new gravel pathways.

Laying borders for the paths. An informational poster about the abduction was also present.
