Sabrina's Hope Garden

April 21, 2007 marks the fifth anniversary of Sabrina's abduction. Although this is a difficult anniversary, we are still excited about our investigators, and feel that good things are coming soon.

Sabrina's Hope Garden was dedicated in 2003, at the one year anniversary of Sabrina's abduction. It was planted at Triumphant Love Lutheran Church, where Sabrina attended from age 2 until her abduction.

We did not hold a service in Sabrina's garden this year because it is currently under construction. It is in the process of being upgraded to a garden and toddler playground, still dedicated to Sabrina. We hope to have a dedication ceremony in May.

The garden offers a beautiful view of the Texas Hill Country. Here are some photos of the garden, taken in 2005.

The garden was designed by Kelley Bonnel for her Girl Scout Gold Award Project. She is a former student at the church's Child Development Center.
