Sabrina's Hope Garden

April 21, 2006 marks the fourth anniversary of Sabrina's abduction. Although this is a difficult anniversary, we are excited about our new investigators, and feel that good things are coming soon.

Sabrina's Hope Garden was dedicated in 2003, at the one year anniversary of Sabrina's abduction. It was planted at Triumphant Love Lutheran Church, where Sabrina attended from age 2 until her abduction.

We did not hold a service in Sabrina's garden this year because our church is under construction. Sabrina's garden is completely surrounded by equipment, materials, and portable buildings.

The garden normally offers a beautiful view of the Texas Hill Country, but this year it is a bit wild. Here are some photos of the garden, taken in 2005.

The garden was designed by Kelley Bonnel for her Girl Scout Gold Award Project. She is a former student at the church's Child Development Center.

Some friends made cutout drawings for Sabrina and put them in her garden.
